Where we belong

We found our home away from home. Summer travels have been many, but the farther we wandered, distance travels to visit families, nonrhythmic times, one thing remains constant we needed less of the "home" and more of this forest. North Carolina hugs a person deep in magical greens, rhododendrons a million, moss, waterfalls, ferns, keep is a peaceful place. Many a times we were tight around a toy, family rood we returned and were released.

AS we wandered we came amongst snails the size of finger nails, craw daddies alive and dead, fish and minnows and free falling water everywhere. Damns to be built, water to be splashed, kids to be free, shoeless, cool
Cedar is always at home here, in fact he needs this most, He releases, soaks, throws, refreshes his tight body and starts over again.

Truthy our bug and worm lover! She is always first to grab a new caterpillar, bug, work and shoes no fear! Some fishing was done with Grandpa and worms there were a many!

Orien finds peace wherever. He needs a bit more push to wander but once free he is a happy guy. The indoors can relax him, books, cuddles, and the outside frees his play!

Thus sums up our home. Where able to wander in the smells of fresh water and mountains and sleep...well that is comfort for sure.
