Caught in the Rain
and it felt so good. The first warm weathered rain and my kiddos and I were so fortunate enough to get caught in it!! The smell, feel, look, is there anything to compare? To surrender to mother nature, and not fight it was the lesson today. We went for a long board/bike ride and roamed around Lake Estes. Stopped for a visit with some friends, threw rocks, biked and rode some more..stopped at the playground and watched the dark clouds come over the mountains. We left in perfect time. Time to cruise.Time to relax.Time to feel wet and warm. I hope Cedar enjoyed it as I was grinning the entire time trying to take in the smell. OD to get caught in the rain. So many memories some fond some not so but all with the feeling that we were being cleansed. I cant wait to get caught..maybe next time on purpose!

you are so right. the BEST feeling to be caught in those heavy spring rains. and i can't believe truth is 1 already . . . and we haven't even met her yet. another good reason to come visit! we are still waiting for the arrival of our little one . . . soon, let's hope! xo damara
