My Pooky is 2

So here it is the 2ND Birthday for Orien. Brings me back to the day of his birth as if it truly just happened..in fact he is already 2 today as it happened in the middle of the early morning.. 2:14 to be exact~! Funny how time stops and those true minutes stay in my mind for years. I wonder when I will forget the time as I usually forget all of this once so important times..but then I think that birth is bigger then that, something that just cant be forgotten as the clock truly stops for that moment, my tears weld up with the first cries, and all is at peace when a healthy boy is lying on my chest. L

So I figured it has taken 2 years to write a note to Orien..and figured down the road it will be fun to look back at who he was when he was just a "big Boy" all of 2...so here it goes

Dear Orien,
Happy birthday to you..you are truly a blessing. Your sweet smile that makes your dimples glow fills us with happiness. When I wake to your voice in the morning..saying things like "mommy what are you talking about?" or our favorite "where is THE daddy" always has a "the" in it when talking of daddy!! As the days usually unfolds there is plenty of "Cedar where are you" "Cedar pushed me" "Cedar where are you!!" you are in love with your big brother. You play lots of games together from hide and go seek..to which I laugh as you sit on the bed with a blanket over your head yelling "Mommy" so hard to find you!!!! You live in the sandbox..unless the usual
"I too cold" statement comes out regardless of temp or time! I am waiting for the "I too hot" to start in the summer!!!! You love to sing..I hear you in your crib singing "old McDonald" and the "hello" song from music class that we to every week. and a favorite line for you in "throw it up in the air and catch it" whenever you throw anything...

Orien you have such a mellow, sensitive side..I wouldn't know who you were if you didn't have your fingers in your mouth sucking away 3/4 of the day...just as content as ever. I thin if you had it your way you would sleep every other hour! And you are willing to go for a snooze anywhere..just the other day i found you upstairs with your toys, half a sleep on the floor..no complaints!

You just saw your first Sesame Street Live show..a little apprehensive but you loved it..and ever since you say mommy "why did Elmo Grow up" and when we got balloons for your birthday you sang the Elmos theme song the entire time to the lady filling the balloons..to which you say tattoons...you are silly!!! You love to run and slide on you knees. You have a silly jump to which you jump up and purposely land on your butt!! You can spin forever...and love to fall down. You wish you could ride a bike or tricycle..but not yet....you are peeing on the potty now..and only use the little potty and a hundred times a day I hear Cedar don't sit on Oriens potty...and he never does..I

Your favorite food is definitely sushi. You will try most anything but sushi is the all time best! Good choice living with us! You have a sweet tooth like your mommy..asking for cinnamon rolls, ice cream, chocolate!!
So Happy Birthday to you love. We are so in love with you and cant wait to see the boy you continue to become...so cheers, eat lots of cake and have fun riping the presents open when daddy gets home!!!!
